WAS THE LAW REMOVED?

I'd like to begin with Jesus’ own words “ Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of these commandments and teach others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them, will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven. ” Matthew 5:17-20 This statement sets the tone for everything that follows. Jesus didn’t come to tear down what was given through Moses. He came to reveal its full meaning; to translate it from stone tablets to living hearts(which the word calls tablets of the heart). In a much clear sense, to translate it from the natural to the spiritual. To bring about the full expression of what it is. SPIRITUAL SOBRIETY

Reflections from a street encounter  "For anything that becomes visible is light. THE POWER OF BLOOD

  Christianity is often viewed as a very bloody religion. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, there's so much blood spilled. This might seem strange or even off-putting to some, but there's a profound significance behind it. I remember something my pastor said that really stood out to me. He talked about how, during our feasts and celebrations here in Africa, we go big. We slaughter cows, goats, chickens, and more, often doing it outside. When people come across the blood on the ground, they usually skip over it or avoid stepping on it. The same thing happens when someone is injured and their blood spills on the ground, nobody wants to step on it. Why is that? The natural mind struggles to comprehend this, and we often come up with elaborate explanations for our actions. DO CHRISTIANS FOLLOW THE LAW? (Torah)

One day, while watching a movie, a certain line stood out to me: "The law doesn't want you to fight, it wants you dead." This got me thinking about the common debate among believers regarding our relationship with the law. Many times, you hear some believers say that we are not free from the law because Jesus Christ said He did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. As it is written in Matthew 5:17-18: “ Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Some interpret this to mean that we are meant to conform to a direct way of living as the law demands.
